Servane’s journey first took her to Ireland through the Erasmus programme, but years later an unexpected phone call from Justin, an Irish neighbour she had never met, sparked a connection that quickly erased the miles between them. Their first meeting took place in Switzerland, making it the natural setting for their pre-wedding story.

High above Bern at the Rosengarten, surrounded by vibrant summer blooms and views of the city’s historic skyline, Servane and Justin celebrated their love through an intimate handfasting ceremony. The ancient ritual, symbolising unity, consent, and devotion, brought heartfelt vows and quiet emotion to the day.
